What we do

As you probably understood after browsing this website we are a group of volunteers but we will try to explain what we exactly do in the Aviodrome here on this page.

In the Aviodrome we have two simulators: the SARP II Radar unit and the NLR Simulator "De Droge Zee" which means as much as "The Dry Sea" which are donated the NLR (http://www.nlr.nl) and the Dutch Air Traffic Control (http://www.lvnl.nl).

The static Flight Simulator is donated to the Netherlands 2000 Scenery Design Team (NL-2000) as a mercy for the work we have done for them (for free) We have rebuilt the simulator and now we can run it online at the network of IVAO (http://www.ivao.aero) with all instruments as well as the auto pilot.

The yellow SARP was donated to the Aviodrome but to complete the stand they asked us to take care of it. Now we have the SARP online at the IVAO network as well. Our volunteers and sometimes members of IVAO keeps the unit running on a virtual position like Amsterdam Tower of Ground.

Currently we are operating with around 14 volunteers but we are busy with working our new projects so we are still searching for new volunteers, if you are interested contact us by filling the form on the contact page!
