My name is Ron van Houten, and am president of the Foundation Aviosim Netherlands, I am also one of four project managers of the flight simulators in the Aviodrome. We got a flight simulator and a SARPll ATC unit, these are under control of the NL-2000 team, which I am one of the team members.
In daily life I work as a dispatcher at the GVB Amsterdam, the main camera functions, passing ovchip failures and underground station's equipment. With a beautiful word OCC operator (dispatcher communication observation).
My education consists of a professional cook, truck driver for 8 years, 1 year public transport ticket inspectorcontroller, bus driver 4 years, 16 years Metro driver and operator for about 5 years OCC dispacher
In 1990 married with Renske, and we are owned by two adorable cats (British Shorthair)
Through this hobby I have been in many places, often others are not possible. Think of the flight simulators at the KLM and the NLR. Also visited the air traffic control tower of Schiphol, and a visit to Amsterdam Schiphol Oost Appoach Radar and Amsterdam.
A visit during my holidays in the cockpit at several companies still succeed, the connection's that we have kept this hobby. Sta tuned for more information. |
