Hello!
My name is Damien van der Aart and 21 years old now ;)
Once upon time....I went to the Aviodrome by invitation of Ron van Houten. I decided to work there for a whole day behind the well known SARP II and in our Simulator. A while later I applied to become volunteer of the Aviodrome as well as NL-2000 team member.
I helped Ron first on his private webspace with some sort of a calendar and a board. Later we created our name Aviosim (from AVIOdrome and SIMulator) en I became one of the thee project managers. We also opened our own website aviosim.org with professional calendar and board.
4 years later we were able to start our own foundation and the three project managers together with Frank van Os became the first executive members of the foundation board. This all to communicate easier with (commercial)third parties. As treasurer I have the task to control all financial administration of our foundation.
In my (rare)spare time I love to travel down to sunny Perú in South America to continue improving my Spanish and to meet with Peruvian friends. Next year I hope to start my University study Laws in Amsterdam.
